Great news!! The Balinese Massage Diploma course is now available (details below)
Last month I mentioned my own visions and dreams which include running creative healing workshops.
Having originally trained in Fine Art, my main focus for many years has been holistic therapies and teaching. Now art journalling, mixed media and channelled art work are re-establishing my creativity as my means of expression and way of connecting with source.
My first workshop will take place next month! I’m so excited!!
Date: 9th October, 10am – 3pm
Venue - Sacred Space, Eaglesciffe, Co Durham
Everyone is creative (even if you think you are not) and I know from personal experience that making art is healing. Being in the creative flow connects us to Source and enables us to tap into the universal healing energy. This is a day of meditation and fun practical exercises: this workshop will help you re-connect with your creative self.

Essential oil of the month
Clary sage (Salvia Sclarea)
Usually associated with the female hormonal system, Clary Sage works on the violet ray and is associated with the crown chakra and the nervous system. Yes, use it for those female clients with hormonal problems but remember that it is a tonic for the nervous system. Therefore it is an excellent oil for those suffering from nervous exhaustion or stress. Grounding and transformative, Clary Sage (or ‘clear eye’) breaks through fears and phobias giving us a new perspective on life.
Nb do not use in pregnancy – keep it for the labour room!
Treatment of the month
BALINESE MASSAGE
It’s here at last – blissful Balinese Massage....
Balinese Massage comes from (surprise!) Bali, one of the Indonesian islands where there is a long history of massage used for healing and well being. The main aim of the treatment is a relaxed state of mind and a free flow of energy or chi through the body. The procedure combines a variety of techniques: deep, flowing massage, acupressure and aromatherapy. A luxurious blend of essential oils of jasmine, rose, frankincense and lemongrass are used to add further element to this fabulous treatment. A previous qualification in massage (eg Swedish or Aromatherapy) is a pre-requisite for this course.
Amethyst offers courses in Aromatherapy at venues in the North East, Essex, North West, Swindon, West Sussex and coming soon to South Yorkshire.
Full course objectives can be seen at

Please contact us for more details and course dates.
Hope to see you or hear from you soon!
Love and light
Rachel
