Swedish Massage

Today massage is widely used on all sorts of people in a wide variety of settings - from baby massage to sports therapy massage to holistic cancer care to aromatherapy spa treatment and all those in between.  On this two day course you will learn a  routine which can be adapted for a wide range of uses and clients.

Please note - a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology (or equivalent eg Nursing or Physiotherapy qualification or previous massage or beauty qualification such as Aromatherapy) is a pre-requisite for this course (A Diploma in A&P is now available through Amethyst, book Swedish and A&P together £350).

• Code of Practice  and Insurance for therapists
• Consultation process including contra-indications
• Possible contra-actions and aftercare advice
• Oils for massage
• Massage movements
• The Swedish Massage routine
• How to adapt your routine    

 This 2 day course costs £250 and carries 18 CPD points.
