Anatomy and Physiology

A Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology forms the backbone (!) of all your therapy courses.  If you are working on people's bodies, you need to know how they work.  

If you are completely new to therapies you will need a Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology before you can undertake a practical course.  Or you may already have some training, for instance Hopi Ear Candling, but want to undertake Swedish Massage or Aromatherapy - again you will need a Diploma in A&P.   

With Amethyst you can study your anatomy and physiology at home, in your own time and at your own pace.  For each unit, we will provide you with a powerpoint containing a summary of everything you need to know.  You will be assessed through written questions for each unit which you will email back to Amethyst.  It will be necessary for you to do your own research in text books or on the internet.  Tutorial support is offered via email.

• The Endocrine System
• The Respiratory System
• The Digestive & Olfactory System
• The Renal System

This course costs £125 and carries 12 CPD points.
