Need a teaching qualification?

If you want to start teaching and sharing your knowledge of holistic treatment with others, you will need a teaching qualification. As well as learning vital skills, you need this to gain the teaching extension to your therapist's insurance.

The minimum requirement is the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET, formerly PTLLS). This can be done over 12 weeks at your local FE college or you can take it as an online course.

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET, formerly PTLLS) has approximately 48 hours of study time and, including research and assessment time, takes approximately 120 hours to complete. You can choose how you wish to divide these hours. You may wish to complete the course in a matter of weeks or spread it over the entire twelve months. The awarding body is Training Qualifications UK (TQUK).
